The Commercial Air Purifier Partition from AIRCROSS is a unique system developed by a team of forward-thinking HVAC engineers in the AIRCROSS™ Project. Designed as a commercial air purifier, the launch of the product is particularly timely, as the world prepares for a post-COVID office environment. The world’s first CAAP the AIRCROSS™ System is designed to reduce the risk of viral infection from aerosols indoors.
“The system was developed in agile sprints in only 3 months together with an offshore team of HVAC/air purifier engineers and then filed for patent in January’21. Since April we have working prototypes and would like to develop the system in cooperation with the industry to roll-out the device globally. The worldwide demand is enormous. The AIRCROSS™ system makes office space usable again, protects the health of employees and is a better alternative to the home office, because personal collaboration and immediate interaction is for most of businesses still superior to pure remote communication,” said The German inventor, Dr. Michael Veil, CRMA.
The Covid-19 pandemic has wreaked havoc in different parts of the world, directly infecting millions of people and causing the death of thousands across the globe. Several measures have been put in place to curb the spread of the virus, including restrictions and wearing masks. While activities are beginning to reopen, it is imperative to keep public spaces as safe as possible, which is where the team at the AIRCROSS™ Project is looking to make a difference with their Commercial Air Purifier Partition.
The system is suitable for open-plan offices and commercial premises, with features to reduce viral infection from aerosols indoors in close proximity to people through purification, spit protection, and air shield. The comprehensiveness of the air purifier and its versatility make it superior to conventional air purification concepts and systems.
The project team that includes German, Thai, Chinese, and American internationals was inspired by the health challenges of the pandemic to create a unique solution that provides physical protection from infectious droplets as well as aerosols.
The system can be applied in several areas of business, ultimately increasing the efficiency of space utilization by providing protection from contagion by viral aerosols while restoring normalcy to interpersonal interactions in business. Top work arenas and Use Case of the AIRCROSS™ application include Medical Care, Computer-Based Office-Work, Classroom and Training, and On-site Customer Interaction.
