Helena Physical Therapy Center Celebrates Seventeen Years In Operation

Since its founding in 2004, the Fischer Physical Therapy center has worked to provide authentic services. The therapeutic treatments offered by the team are the most long-lasting and effective interventions available.

Fischer Physical Therapy and Matthew Fisher are pleased to announce that the Helena physical therapy center has reached a milestone of 17 years of providing quality therapeutic treatments to area residents. The heart and operating principle of Fischer Physical Therapy is authentic service. Each of the treatments provided in an individualized course of therapy is based on a constant quest to find and implement the most effective and long-lasting results possible. Because the most effective interventions are not achieved in a vacuum, the FPT staff makes every effort to ensure that the physical environment is positive, comfortable, and conducive to healing.

Matthew received his Master of Science in Physical Therapy in 2000. His experience has been exclusively in Helena and outpatient orthopedic settings. He furthered his training by becoming one of only 50 U.S. therapists with advanced courses in the Primal Reflex Release Technique. His approach throughout his experience relies on specialized hands-on methods while at the same time encouraging each client to be moving toward independent management through gentle exercise.

Additional information about the clinic is available at

A whole body or holistic path to healing integrates many types of therapeutic interventions. As a teacher and therapist, Matthew develops many innovative applications using manual techniques and exercise. Chronic pain related to the spine and muscles, and joints are his greatest interest. Some of the conditions which are treated by the team of therapists include pre- and post-operative conditions, sports injuries, vestibular disorders, balance dysfunctions, neurological dysfunctions, neck and back pain, headaches and concussions, TMJ dysfunction and jaw pain, chronic muscle and joint pain, upper and lower extremity injuries, and pain and injuries due to overuse.

The exceptional physical therapy team offers advanced manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, modalities, and patient education. The center’s staff in the Power Block Building has doubled better to meet the needs of the Helena area population.

About the Clinic:

Fischer Physical Therapy, launched in 2004 by Matthew Fischer, has more than doubled in size and staff. The techniques used rely on a whole body approach to healing. Both manual techniques and gentle exercise are employed.
